I’m taking part in the Indie Hackers ’30 Days of Growth’ challenge, starting 01/07/19.

My focus will be on building the earlybird subscriber list for my Sales for Founders course.

Conversion rates are already really good, so I now need to focus on getting as many of the ‘right kind of people’ subscribed to the earlybird waitlist as possible.

Each day in July, I’ll come back and update here with what I did the day before, the results, and what I’m doing today to grow that waitlist…


Day #08:

  • Nothing

Was away from computer and didn’t really do any work on this at all.

Felt good to recharge for the first time in a while!


Day #04:

  • added short video recaps to livestream landing page
  • nothing else (life got in the way)

  • 3 new subscribers (goal: 20)

  • did some (not v. successful) livestreaming
  • shared livestream landing page on Twitter, IH etc

  • 11 new subscribers (goal: 20)
👷‍♀️ What I’m doing today:
  • Livestreaming later today
  • Adding short video recaps to the livestream landing page (to improve conversions)
  • (hopefully) pushing a new podcast episode live
  • Goal: 20 new signups

Creating and sharing a landing page where people can subscribe to follow along on my livestream challenge… as I attempt to find paying customers for a side project in 60min/day.

Doing this partly to help founders struggling to do this themselves, and partly to ‘dogfood’ the material in my S4F course (so that I know I’m covering everything founders need to know about early stage sales).
